I bought this alongside the chrome pull handle. It’s basically as described - very quiet (a small click when turning on, virtually no noise when switching off). Installation was fairly straightforward, the only complications were due to the position of the existing switch right next to the coving which made it a bit tricky, but this had nothing to do with the product.
My only gripe would be the chrome handle isn’t as premium as the price would suggest, and the string isn’t as taut as my old one, meaning you have to pull down slightly harder to operate it.
It’s a good product, probably a bit overpriced, but if you’re looking for a virtually silent bathroom switch, then this does the job.

A busy house and this one little switch takes the edge of the noise in the evening and morning. The chrome pull handle is ok but I can not fit it onto the pull chain so I am having a think about that one.

Simply fit the new cord through the lower hole of the existing fitting connect and tie a double knot to secure it properly.
