I bought this alongside the chrome pull handle. It’s basically as described - very quiet (a small click when turning on, virtually no noise when switching off). Installation was fairly straightforward, the only complications were due to the position of the existing switch right next to the coving which made it a bit tricky, but this had nothing to do with the product.
My only gripe would be the chrome handle isn’t as premium as the price would suggest, and the string isn’t as taut as my old one, meaning you have to pull down slightly harder to operate it.
It’s a good product, probably a bit overpriced, but if you’re looking for a virtually silent bathroom switch, then this does the job.
Excellent customer service. Quick delivery and oh so quiet …! Highly recommend. You won’t be woken in the night any longer once this is installed!
The QuietSwitch is a misnomer. It should be called the ReallyIsAlmostSilentSwitch. It’s utterly brilliant. Quite (or is that quiet?!) transformative for our sleep when we have guests who use the bathroom, which is just the other side of the wall from our bed. It’s made an amazing difference. It was easy to install and the staff (when I had to change the delivery arrangements) were extremely helpful. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
