QuietSwitch Pull Switch For Better Sleep

First of all, the switch really is VERY QUIET and WON'T disturb anyone. We're still getting used to the very short pull required! :)
I believe it's a designed in the UK by a start up company so they probably aren't yet getting the benefit of Chinese manufacture in large numbers yet, hence the comparatively high price. However, I wanted to support a small UK company as they're important for the UK's future. Their situation is likely to be similar to some of the companies covered in Dragon's Den. :)
I'm a Design Engineer myself and this is the type of item I like to come up with and ! admire those who are able to turn it into a business!
INSTALLATION is ABSOLUTELY STRAIGHTFORWARD and I was able to reuse existing screws and holes due to thoughtful detail design. As the previous switch had a central cable entry point I had to cut a tiny channel ~20mm long in the ceiling plasterboard to allow the mains cable to be routed to the entry point near the edge. A deeper design could have avoided this need but there's many considerations!
I can HEARTILY RECOMMEND THE SWITCH and I wish them well for the future!

Wow what a difference. My bathroom is located directly under my sons bedroom, and he constantly moaned about the noise the light switch made. My old switch was so loud, and would sometimes jam, but now peace prevails. It has taken a little while for the family to get used to Quiteswitch because it is so quite and has such a smooth operation. Great product at a great price and good riddance old clunky noisy switch.

So our light pull for the bathroom is directly below my daughters room. The CLUNK on that thing through the floor is pretty loud, and annoying during the night. So when renovating we decided to swap it out for this on. I was pleasantly surprised! Got some getting used to as you only need to pull the cord a few millimeters... BUT it has the gentlest little 'click' which I can only compare to the tap of a keyboard key. Will be getting another one for our seperate toilet for sure! 🤌🏾👌🏾

I was slightly dubious thinking that it would be just as noisy as the old one but really pleased. It is not totally silent but extremely quiet. I am very pleased with my purchase and customer service. I won’t be waking my wife up in the night now when I use the bathroom 👍😁

I am very noise sensitive. As in it causes me actual pain. Our bathroom light noise before quiet switch was installed was horrible. Now everyone enjoys how quiet it is !!

I’m quite a competent DIYer so I wasn’t worried about changing over the switches. However the input in and out ports for the wires did initially confuse me as I was looking for the common part. It fitted over our original so no repainting needed.
You also need to be gentle pulling the cord to turn on / off as without the click of normal switch you forget to release the pull cord. Took us a little while to get used to than.
Would 200% recommend this.
Just be careful as I ordered a chrome but got a white. Didn’t bother me too much as I was so desperate to get it fitted

Originally replaced one of seven bathroom LED down lighters running off the same ceiling pull switch. But the ballast of the the new LED had been upgraded and too sensitive for my original noisy pull switch and would just cause all the lights to briefly flash on and off and would need two more pulls to work. The QuietSwitch fitted the original switch screw holes perfectly with room for excess wire and no need for touch up paint. The terminal screws were more robust than previous switches and the lights worked perfectly first time, every time with the added bonus of hardly any noise. No more effort/tension was needed pull the switch than any other type of ceiling pull switch.

What a great idea, wish I had them when my daughters were babies 🫣

It’s REALLY QUIET !!

Amazingly quiet, my standard switch was noisy as anything, these ones are 10 times more quieter.

Having received my Quietswitch, I set about replacing the original Bathroom light switch. The installation was nice and easy and the Quietswitch was easily installed over the original switch’s position using the original ceiling position. Turning the power back on, it was impressive just how quiet the switch was compared to the original switch which would wake the house up if anybody used the bathroom at night. In fact I was left with the impression that the Quietswitch wasn’t working, but true to form a gentle pull on the switch turned the lights on with hardly any noise at all.
Very pleased with this light switch and, fingers crossed, it continues to work and gives us all peaceful nights.

I purchased a different switch from EBay that proclaimed to be quiet. It would wake the dead! Although the Quietswitch is more expensive than standard switches, it really does what it says on the tin - it’s quiet! Job done.

Silent as advertised. Bought one a few years ago so know this company and promise.
Replaced the cord with stainless steel chain just for ease of cleaning.

I was very suprised at how quiet the switch was, can hardly hear it when turning it on and off. Easy install and looks good.

Finally a light switch that doesn’t wake me up at night when the kids go to the toilet. Simple to fit and quiet. Perfect product and at a great price.

I am so happy with my new switch.

We bought this switch because our baby sleeps above our toilet light switch and the old one like all standard pulls was super loud. This is a 5 minute swap over job. It works great and you can barely hear it now. We loved it so much that we changed the other bathroom pull also. My video doesn't do the sound difference justice in reality but gives you an idea of the change it makes.

I originally thought that it would make a small difference but no a massive one,I have to do night shifts and this is a good send when kids are around,thank you so much.

This product actually works, it's amazing.
Took a few goes to understand installation instructions but not too difficult.
So silent, I love it.
